While we can also source new items, we specialize in vintage and previously owned home furnishings. Embracing more sustainable purchasing habits and rejecting the "buy-new, throw-away" culture, we take an environmentally sustainable approach whether it's one piece, one room, or your entire home. First, let us know what you're looking for. The list below will help us (and you!) describe it. Include as many details as you can along with any photos you might have of similar pieces.
FORM - what is the dimension range? (height, depth, width)
FIT - tell us about the space it's for (a narrow hallway, a spacious great room, etc.)
FUNCTION - What will its primary purpose be? Some are obvious but if a buffet table will be used to store an entire china set versus just using the top for serving, we will look for buffets or sideboards with the maximum amount of storage space. In this example, we’d also want to know if you want open or hidden storage.
Style - A few examples: modern, vintage, formal, casual, beachy, victorian, shabby chic, art deco.
COLOR/TEXTURE - what color and finish do you desire? (i.e. matte (flat), satin, high gloss, stenciled, waxed, distressed, dark or light wood stain)
TIMELINE - are you flexible or do you need it by a certain date?
